After neglecting all physical exercise throughout my twenties, I decided to start running a few months before my 34th birthday. I’m not sure why I picked running but the Nike+ app on my iPhone may well have been a contributing factor.
When I started in February 2010 I was around 101kg (~16st / 225lbs). Since then I’ve managed to drop to 77kg (~12st / 170lbs) and feel great.
I’ve got my eye on a half marathon next year with a full one the year after. This blog records my progress.
